These are desk bunnies; I got the idea for their final design from blind boxes. They are small figures that would sit on your desk and give off sweet scents.
I'll admit that the blind box wasn't my first idea, I was thinking more like a silly robot assistant, that would help do basic chores, a helpful fella.
When I first made these bunnies, I was actually just making just one, a green pastell bunny. I was trying out 3D molding for the first time. Was trying to really use shape language, at the time I was using the tool forger- thats where I left this bunny project last- when I did come back to this project, I had moved it to a new tool nomad and had fixed a lot of issues. first the shape then the color.
I started playing with different poses, making sure that they would be able to stand on their own, but also give them whimsy. After that i made small color changes to differentiate between the four bunnies. While I do this i give a short description about who they are and where they come from
I then gave the bunnies' names and prepared for the finished decorating package, giving it a starry look to match their space origin
